Anvisa has just informed Abahe of the approval of the drug Skyclarys for the treatment of Friedreich's Ataxia.
This is the first and so far only drug developed in the world to treat this ataxia.
It's hard to describe our excitement. We are VERY happy with this news, which is the result of the efforts of the entire ataxic community. The fight isn't over, but today's victory fills us with energy to face what awaits us at Conitec.
People with ataxia are in a hurry.
If you have Friedreich's Ataxia, register at Abahe.org.br .
