We Are All Rare

On October 10th, the "We Are All Rare" Symposium was held, organized by Dr. Osvaldo Nascimento and Dr. Omar Lupi at the headquarters of the National Academy of Medicine here in Rio de Janeiro.
The event had several interesting lectures and other similar events should take place, addressing more rare diseases (including ataxias).
Abahe (Brazilian Association of Hereditary and Acquired Ataxias) was represented by volunteer Renata Nunes , a patient with spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3). If you have ataxia, register with Abahe.
