Instructions: The Dr. Henrique Santillo State Rehabilitation and Readaptation Center (CRER) is the country's first rehabilitation hospital, a unit of the Goiás State Health Department, and is served by the Unified Health System (SUS). CRER offers wheelchairs, shower chairs, motorized chairs, orthoses, and prosthetics . Follow-up by a neurologist, physiatrist, dental treatment, equine therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychologist, speech therapy, music therapy, art therapy, and hydrotherapy are all available through the SUS. CRER is the largest neurological referral center in the Central-West region. CRER also performs genetic testing for diagnosis. The patient may be from another city. In this case, your city's Health Department likely provides transportation and a group home in Goiânia.
To access CRER:
1- Look for the health center in your city and make an appointment with a physiatrist or neurologist and ask for a referral to CRER.
2- If you already have a genetic test and report, it's faster. If not, get the referral anyway.
3- Stay calm. The waiting list is long, and it can take several months to be called. But once admitted, the patient undergoes hospitalization until surgery
, covering a wide range of neurological services.

Institution: CER (Integrated Rehabilitation Center)

There is a national network of Integrated Rehabilitation Centers (CER) served by the Unified Health System (SUS), with units in several municipalities in each state. For example, there are several CER units in Goiás .
